For enthusiasts of nature and arts. Castle Het Nijenhuis is one of the best preserved ‘havezates’ of Overijssel. Located in between the villages Olst and Wijhe, the castle is surrounded by an exquisite landscape. After years of being closed for the public, the castle is one of the locations of Museum De Fundatie since 2004 and shows parts of an impressive art collection of Dirk Hannema (1895-1984), former director of Museum Boijmans van Beuningen. They also host varying expositions on a regular basis.
